You may travel by private boat or air.
Commercial airlines—including Silver Airways (operating with United) and several Bahamian carriers—touch down at Bimini’s tiny airport connecting from Nassau, Freeport, and Florida. But far and away, the most fun way to arrive here is via a splash landing in a seaplane with Tropic Ocean Airways, which runs scheduled and private charter flights from Miami and Fort Lauderdale. There is now Aztec air flying from Ft. Lauderdale Executive Airport. Elitetravel242.com is another option. Fill out the contact form on their website for pricing information.

Bimini is located about 50 miles off the coast of South Florida. We have made the crossing many times in less than 2 hours on our 32ft sport fisherman. Twin engines are recommended.
Be sure to check the weather conditions prior to your departure. Go to www.noaa.gov for weather conditions.

Passports are required to enter The Bahamas.
